Cafe World Sock Hop Catering Order: Everything you need to know

The local high school in Cafe World is throwing a 50's themed party (or a Sock Hop), and it's up to you to cater the event! Feeding all of those students is going to be a tough job (kids can eat!), and you've got just three days to finish this one off before you'll lose your chance at a free meal. There are six tasks in all in this Catering Order, so let's jump straight into our guide - there's no time to waste!

First, the food. You'll need to serve Meat Craver's Pizza (a 12-hour dish) 30 times, Onion Rings (an 18-hour dish) 25 times, Chef's Salad (a 30-minute dish) 200 times and Choco-Scotch Clusters (a two-hour dish) a whopping 500 times. Why are the Meat Craver's Pizza and Onion Rings so limited? First, the Pizza can only be cooked on a Pizza Oven, which you can only have, at most, two of. In addition, the Onion Rings are a Deep Fryer dish, meaning you'll only be able to cook two of those at once as well. Remember, you'll be able to serve extra servings out of your Gift Box, along with using spices to speed your progress along, but either way, you'll want to try and gather as many of the 15 extra friends as you can to help you with this order.

In addition to these cooking tasks, you'll need to collect 15 Poodle Skirts and 15 Leather Jackets with the help of friends to finish this one off. If you can complete all of the above in less than three days, you'll earn the three-star rating, 15 Catering Points, 7,500 Cafe Points, 200,000 coins and the Drive-In Meal recipe. Finish in more than three days, but under five and you'll receive the two-star rating, 10 Catering Points, 5,000 Cafe Points and 125,000 coins. Finally, if you finish the order at any time after the first five days have passed, you'll receive a single star, 5 Catering Points, 3,000 Cafe Points and 75,000 coins.

Remember, you'll need to have your Deep Fryer(s) and Pizza Oven(s) going non-stop, with the help of friends in the background, to be able to finish this one off with the three-star rating. Still, if you can pull it off, you'll not only receive the new Drive-In Meal recipe, but will be able to walk away from this dance with your head held high. Good luck!

What do you think of this Sock Hop Catering Order in Cafe World? Do you like having to use the Deep Fryer and Pizza Oven, or would you rather everything stick to the true stove-top?

Cafe World Soap Box Supper Catering Order: Everything you need to know

Here's an interesting one: a new Catering Order has launched in Cafe World asking you to help feed a group of racers after their Soap Box Derby race. You'll be there at the finish line waiting, and if you can help these racers out in time, you'll walk away with a free recipe for your efforts.

This particular catering order requires you to serve Tony's Classic Pizza (a five-hour dish) 100 Times, Basil Finger Sandwiches (a six-hour dish) 35 Times, Clubhouse Sandwiches (an 18 hour dish) 20 times and Bacon Cheeseburgers (a five-minute dish) 300 times. Luckily, the Bacon Cheeseburger happens to be the shortest cooking dish and is the one required in the highest quantity. This means that you'll be able to push out dozens of servings in a single sitting in the game, and when you bring up to 14 of your friends in on this order with you, the progress becomes even quicker.

In addition to these cooking tasks, you'll also need to collect 12 Axles and 12 Racing Flags to go along with the Soap Box Derby theme. Both of these sets of items are earned through individual gift requests sent to your friends.

If you can finish all six tasks within the first three days of starting, you'll earn the three-star rating, 15 Catering Points, 7,500 Cafe Points, 200,000 coins and a Fried Chicken Sandwich recipe. Unfortunately, you must complete this order with the three star rating in order to earn the recipe, so feel free to cancel the order and start over if you haven't finished it by that time. If you do decide to push on, however, and can finish before five full days have passed, you'll receive two stars, 10 Catering Points, 5,000 Cafe Points and 125,000 coins. Finally, finishing at any point after those first five days gives you a single star, 5 Catering Points, 3,000 Cafe Points and 75,000 coins.

All in all, this Catering Order doesn't have a time limit in terms of when it must be started, so if you have more time-sensitive tasks to complete in your cafe first, feel free to complete those entirely before coming back and helping these racers.

What do you think of the Soap Box Supper Catering Order? Do you appreciate "easier" orders like these, or do you prefer a true challenge? Sound off in the comments.

Cafe World Manny's Mobile Meal Catering Order: Everything you need to know

Last week, we gave you a look at the second portion of the Cafe World two-year anniversary event, which takes us to the Philippines to help Manny on a Journey. While that may have been an already complex series of goals (and even a building project), Manny's story becomes even more in-depth today, as the accompanying catering order has finally launched. This order asks you to cook up a storm for a Filipino feast, and comes with the usual free recipe for completing this order with a three star rating.

Unfortunately, this is another order that will likely be impossible for some chefs to complete, unless they've already completed Manny's goals enough times to unlock all of the new Filipino recipes launched in this particular event. To be specific, you'll need to serve Lechon 475 times, Sisig 45 times and Filipino Paella 140 times. I suppose you could get lucky and have some really, really helpful friends do the cooking in these tasks for you (while you showered them with thanks, of course), or you could even pay your way through the goals with Cafe Cash to unlock the dishes more quickly that way. Either way, you're looking at some lengthy gameplay before you can even be eligible for completing this catering order on your own.

While you're cooking (or waiting on your friends to cook), you can ask your friends for the two collectible items in this order: 12 Monster Skewers and 16 Banana Leaves. Both of these are earned by sending out individual requests to friends, so earning all 28 may take you a few days, depending on the number of neighbors you have available to ask for help.

If you can complete this entire order within the first three days, you'll earn the three-star rating, 12 Catering Points, 3,200 Cafe Points, 70,000 coins and the Cassava Cake recipe. In addition, since this order is technically part of the two-year anniversary event, finishing with the three star rating also gives you a bonus of 10,000 Travel Passes. If three days proves to be too short, but you can finish within five days, you'll receive two stars, 8 Catering Points, 2,300 Cafe Points and 50,000 coins. Finally, if you finish at any point after the first five days have passed, you'll receive just a single star, 4 Catering Points, 1,400 Cafe Points and 30,000 coins. Again, you must finish with the three star rating to unlock the new recipe and the extra Travel Passes, so feel free to "cancel" your order if you run out of time and start over for another try.

What do you think of this newest catering order? How many of these three required dishes have you already unlocked in your cafe? Let us know in the comments.
